“I’m really excited for the new season, we’ve made some good signings such as Dean Holland and the incoming players will make a big difference this year.

“Going into the start of a new season is always interesting as you don’t know what the other teams will have been doing over the close season. I’m sure though no matter what we’ll give any team a run for their money.”

Whitley’s top scorer from the last season Adam Reynolds also spoke about Warriors prospects for the new term .

“I’m looking forward to the season, our new signings have settled in well and we should have a strong team out on the ice.

“Hopefully we can push all the teams who finished above us last season and improve on the 4th place finish from last year also.”
