Whitley Warriors can confirm that they will be taking on the Widnes Wild in the promotion/relegation play off at the end of the 2014/15 campaign. The games will take place over the weekend of the 11th/12th of April with Widnes at home on the Saturday (face off tbc) and Whitley at home on the Sunday (face off 5pm). Both organisations have worked together to ensure the play off games can take place shortly after the end of the regular season.
The winner of the play off game will play in NIHL North Division 1 against the likes of the Blackburn Hawks, Solway Sharks and Billingham Stars next season while the loser will play in NIHL North Division 2 and go up against sides such as the Nottingham Lions, Bradford Bulldogs and Deeside Dragons.
