Whitley Warriors today announce their pre-season programme – and they’re local derbies!
Warriors will travel to Teesside to play Billingham Stars on Saturday 25 August before the return fixture at Hillheads on Sunday 26 August. The home fixture will face off at the usual time of 5pm and the road game face off time on the Saturday is 6pm.
General Manager Dave Holland said, “We’re pleased to be playing Billingham Stars in pre-season this year – it’s something different to what we’ve done the past few years and should give us a realistic outlook for the season ahead.
“We’re always up for the challenge against Billingham and we hope to see plenty of our fans at both games.”
