Whitley Warriors are happy to announce that forwards Jordan Barnes and Martin Crammond will once again take to the ice next season.
Both players came through the junior ranks at Whitley Bay and have been pivotal members of the senior squad for the last decade and beyond.
Whitley stalwart Martin, 28, made his senior debut in 2005-06. “I’m very happy to be asked back for another season with the Warriors,” he said. “This will be my fourteenth straight season for the Warriors and I seem to be looking forward to it more and more every season. I can’t wait to get back on the ice with the lads in front of our amazing fans and see what we can achieve this year – hopefully go one better and reach the play offs.”
25-year-old Jordan enters his tenth year in maroon and gold and has been an alternate captain for the last three seasons.
“I am really happy about signing again,” Jordan told us. “The group of lads we have are great. I’m looking forward to start the season again and bringing the same style I have brought for years – and I am also looking forward to seeing the best fans in the league again.”
