Simpson signs for Warriors on two-way deal

Garry Simpson

Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce the signing of forward Garry Simpson on a two-way contract with our friends at Paisley Pirates.

Simpson scored 53 points in 29 games for the Pirates last season, including 29 goals. The 6′ 3″ 23-year-old from Fife teams up once more with Head Coach Tony Hand, who previously coached him at Murrayfield Racers.

“I would like to thank Ian Turley at Paisley Pirates for making this happen,” Hand told us. “I look forward to having Garry in our squad when available this season, starting with pre-season.”

“I have worked with Tony and Willie before and look forward to teaming up with them and testing myself in the NIHL,” Simpson said.

Simpson, who will wear the number 22 shirt next season, is available for sponsorship straight away – you can buy his shirts for Own and Loan or Player Sponsorship. With Own and Loan, you get the shirt at Christmas but with Player Sponsorship you get your name or business name printed on the shirt. Two great ways to help Whitley Warriors and get your hands on some unique merch!
