Whitley Warriors would like to inform our supporters that Head Coach Tony Hand MBE will be stepping back from coaching duties for a limited time due to a surgical procedure.

Tony attended hospital for a routine scan and it was decided that cardiac surgery was required to repair a valve.

Tony has informed the owners of the Warriors, who are fully supportive of him. In his absence, Rob Pamphilon will take over coaching duties, assisted by Club Captain Shaun Kippin. We wish Tony well and look forward to welcoming him back fit and well to Whitley Warriors.

We ask that you respect Tony’s privacy at this time and we will update supporters on news of his progress when appropriate.
