Whitley Warriors are delighted to welcome new corporate sponsor Dellybears Childcare to the Warriors family.
Dellybears Childcare is a childcare provider rated good by Ofsted. Located in St Cuthbert’s Drive in Gateshead, they accept all Government funding from 9 months old. Opening at 7am and closing at 6pm, Dellybears Childcare currently charges £7 per child per hour.
Dellybears owner Adele Lewis is relatively new to ice hockey. “We found ice hockey after watching the Giants in Belfast,” she told us. “Our friend introduced us to our local team and we loved it so much so decide we wanted to help achieve a cup win in the next season! Without the support [of sponsors] we could lose a sport that is family-led. We love the fact that the fans sit together, have a shout for their team but no fights, with a great atmosphere that’s family friendly.

General manager Willie Dunn was happy to see a new name on display around the rink. “It’s great to welcome new supporters, and now sponsors to the Warriors. I spoke with Adele at our awards night and she was adamant she was going to support the guys this year and be part of the journey and it’s great that’s she’s done that.”
