The National Ice Hockey League (NIHL) North season will once again culminate in a playoff weekend featuring the best four teams from each of the Moralee and Laidler divisions, it has been confirmed today.
Players, staff and supporters will converge on Ice Sheffield over the weekend of April 8&9 for a true festival of NIHL ice hockey. This is the fourth year that the NIHL North have held a Finals Weekend, the second to feature clubs from both divisions at the same event. As was the case last year, fans of all NIHL North clubs are encouraged to attend and make the event a true showpiece to bring the season to a close.
The top four sides from Moralee and Laidler divisions will battle in semi finals on Saturday April 8, with both leagues holding 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd from the regular season standings.
Sunday April 9 will see the two Grand Finals with the winners being crowned Playoff Champions to round off another exciting season of NIHL hockey in the North.
