The fixtures for NIHL North Moralee Conference have been announced and Warriors’ first competitive game of the 2013/14 campaign will be an away fixture against Telford Titans on the 7th September. Whitley’s first home game of the NIHL campaign is the following weekend when Warriors take on local rivals Billingham Stars at Hillheads on Sunday 15th of September.
Other noteworthy fixtures include a home clash with NIHL North champions Solway Sharks on the 5th of January which happens to be the first Warriors home game of 2014. Trips down to Teesside to take on Billingham Stars on the 17th November and 12th January are also fixtures that fans will already be looking forward to.
Warriors have kept to their traditional Sunday face off time of 5pm. However a number of Whitley’s away fixtures are scheduled at rather different times – an away trip to Sheffield to take on the Spartans in late September faces off at 3.45pm while Warriors ventures north of the border to take on Solway are set to get underway at 7.00pm.
Simon Leach’s side end their league campaign in the same manner they started it as Warriors last NIHL regular season match up is against Shropshire side Telford Titans on the 16th March at Hillheads, with the NIHL Playoff weekend at Solway’s Dumfries Ice Bowl taking place shortly afterwards in mid-April.
