Whitley Warriors can today announce that forward Kyle Ross has signed up for the 2019-20 season.

21-year-old Kyle first played for Warriors in 2013-14 after starting out at the Newcastle Vipers junior set up and moving to Whitley Tomahawks in 2010-11. Kyle moved to Canada in 2016 to improve his game, playing forty-two games for Norwood Nemesis and Essa Stallions of the Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League, scoring thirty-three points on the way. He returned to the UK for 2017-18. Last season he appeared thirty-seven times for Warriors, notching fourteen points with sixty-six minutes in penalties.

“It’s always good to be back with the team and I can’t wait to get started,” Kyle told us. “Always great to be at Whitley where the team always gives it there all hopefully this year we can win the league!”

Welcome back Kyle!
