Whitley Warriors are happy to announce that netminder Jordan Boyle will again be part of the roster for the 2019-20 campaign.

Jordan started his hockey career with the Newcastle Vipers junior setup before moving to Northern Stars and then Whitley Bay Junior Ice Hockey Club. He broke into the senior team in 2012-13 then moved to Solway Sharks. Jordan returned to Whitley Warriors in 2015-16 and has been an integral part of the roster since.

After an injury to Richie Lawson last season, Jordan was given a chance to show off his talents and did not disappoint, recording a save average of 86.73% and grabbing the only two shut outs Warriors achieved in that season.

Jordan was full of confidence for the coming season: “I am really looking forward to the season starting again and can’t wait to get back on the ice. I thought we had a really good season last season and I think we have a really good chance of winning the league this year.”

Welcome back Jordan!
