Whitley Warriors are pleased to announce that young forward Anthony Wetherell has re-signed for the 2019-20 season.
Anthony, 20, is yet another player that came through Whitley Bay Junior Ice Hockey Club. He made his senior debut in 2016-17 and despite only playing eight Warriors games last season, he was alternate captain for the Under-20s Whitley Renegades with 15 points from 14 games and 38 penalty minutes.
“I’m excited for the new season, playing with the lads again and to help the team to achieve their goals,” Anthony told us.
