World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend is a global opportunity for girls of all ages to try ice hockey. Thousands of girls worldwide have taken part since 2011. Whitley Bay Junior Ice Hockey Club are hosting a FREE session at Whitley Bay Ice Rink to bring local girls together on the ice so they can be introduced to basic skills in hockey in a positive, fun and safe environment.
The session is on Saturday 5th October between 12pm and 2pm – participants should arrive at 11am to get kitted up. Skates, sticks and helmets will be provided FREE – just bring warm clothing!
