Harley signs for Peterborough in the EPL – Harry honoured to have iced for Warriors

Harry Harley has left Whitley Warriors to sign for Peterborough Phantoms of the English Premier League. Harry made 28 appearances for Warriors last term picking up 22 points and putting in a number of impressive displays at both ends of the ice.

Harry guested for the Phantoms on a couple of occasions last season when Peterborough were missing players due to international call ups, and he thoroughly impressed Peterborough coach Jon Kynaston who has also coached Harry at junior international level.

Harry got in touch with myself once his move to Phantoms had been finalised to place on record his admiration for Whitley Warriors and the overall coaching set up at Hillheads.

“I would like to say it as an honour to play for my senior local team and thank them for introducing me to senior hockey.

“I would also like to thank the junior development program as I have played for Whitley all through the age groups since I was 13.”

Whitley Warriors would like to wish Harry all the best for his future career.
