Warriors took on the Solway Sharks on Sunday evening in Whitley Bay. Simon Leach’s side were without d man Rob Wilson who was unavailable while the in form forward Dean Holland had to miss the game as he picked up a hand injury during Warriors game with the Manchester Minotaurs on Saturday evening.

Whitley Warriors can confirm that they will be taking on the Widnes Wild in the promotion/relegation play off at the end of the 2014/15 campaign. The games will take place over the weekend of the 11th/12th of April with Widnes at home on the Saturday (face off tbc) and Whitley at home on the Sunday (face off 5pm).

Veteran blue liner Paul Matthews was back on Warriors roster after a lengthy spell out of action due to an ankle injury however Rob Wilson and Callum Watson both missed the contest with Minotaurs.

All being well Paul and the Warriors will take on the Manchester Minotaurs on Saturday afternoon in Altrincham before he and his teammates face the Solway Sharks on home ice at 5pm on Sunday at Hillheads.
