Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce Evans Halshaw Vauxhall as their main sponsor for the upcoming NIHL North 2014/15 season.
The four local Evans Halshaw Vauxhall sites at Shiremoor, Gateshead, Cramlington and Blaydon are all on board. Richard McVay, Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Regional Director spoke about his firm’s decision to sponsor the Warriors.
‘We have decided to be the Warriors main sponsor this season as our Vauxhall brand is very strong in the North East and we have built up an excellent working relationship with the Warriors and their fans, we look forward to a successful season working together again’.
Warriors coach Simon Leach also spoke about the link-up between Whitley and Evans Halshaw Vauxhall.
“It is fantastic news that Evans Halshaw Vauxhall have agreed to become our main title sponsors for the coming season. This has had a great impact on our club already and we are very proud to be in partnership with such a major player in their industry not just here in the North East but nationwide.
“It is a major coup for the club, and on behalf of Whitley Warriors I would like to thank Evans Halshaw Vauxhall for their support and also a big thank you must go to Paul Matthews who has been instrumental in putting everything together.”
Warriors continued their pre-season preparations last weekend when they skated to a 7-4 challenge game victory over Kirkcaldy Kestrels up in Scotland. Simon Leach’s side play their first home game of the season this coming Sunday (5pm) when Aberdeen Lynx visit Hillheads for a challenge game.
