“The St Andrews Cup is an annual competition that we play in and have done since 1998.We have played various sides over the years and this year I wanted to play the Whitley Warriors as we have a good friendly rivalry between the clubs.
“I spoke to Warriors Coach Simon Leach and I knew he was looking for more games so it was a good fit for us both and we are looking forward to welcoming Warriors and their supporters up to Scotland for the game.
“It gives both teams extra games and the opportunity to use some fringe players alongside experienced players. I am grateful to Warriors for agreeing to the games and look forward to the match ups.”
Whitley Supporters are reminded that Warriors next game is a home match this coming Sunday (28th September- face off 5pm) when Whitley take on the Sutton Sting in a NIHL North league game.
