Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce the re-signing of 18-year-old forward Owen Yarrow.
A product of the Whitley Bay junior system, Yarrow recorded his first points in the Under 15s in 2017 before going on to captain the side two years later. A spell with the Under 18s followed before making his senior debut last season.
Yarrow, son of former Whitley Warrior Alan Yarrow, gave us his thoughts on the upcoming campaign: “I’m looking forward to next season – I’m positive Tony can help me progress and take the team to the next level.”
Head Coach Tony Hand told us, “Owen is a young player I am very much looking forward to working with this season and I expect good things from him.”
