Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce that Robbie Pamphilon has been appointed Assistant Coach.

Pamphilon was Assistant Coach at Swindon Wildcats between 2013 and 2021 and brings with him a wealth of experience in coaching at the then-EPL and equivalent level. A move north for Pamphilon has proven fortuitous for hockey on Tyneside.

“It’s a privilege a be joining such a big and established club,” Pamphilon said. “I’ve been lucky to have worked under some top British coaches such as Aaron Nell and Ryan Aldridge from my time with Swindon Wildcats and I am looking forward to getting started and helping the Warriors succeed.

“I’m very keen to start working with Tony and further develop my coaching knowledge and skills.”

Warriors Head Coach Tony Hand is pleased to see Pamphilon come on board. “Robbie is a young coach with good experience at Swindon and I’m looking forward to working with him at Whitley Warriors and to help develop him as a coach.”

Welcome to Whitley Warriors, Robbie!
