Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce that Whitley Wolf will be on hand for photos, flag waving, plexiglass thumping and probable fur shedding throughout the 2025-26 season.
Whitley, a seven foot wolf of unknown age or origin, appeared out of nowhere two years ago. The club took him in and he became their mascot. Whitley soon became a favourite among fans young and old. You can even buy your own plush Whitley Wolf!
It was rumoured that Whitley had a tempting offer over the summer from a local zoo but an agreement on an increased Febreze budget saw him put pen to paper for the new campaign with Warriors. We approached Whitley for comment but he thought we wanted to play and we ended up throwing a ball for him for 45 minutes.
