Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce that Canadian import forward Phil Edgar will be part of the clubs roster for the 2017/18 season in NIHL North Division 1. Edgar almost joined Warriors last season however the move was not logistically possible and all parties are now delighted Phil can now link up with the Warriors organisation.
Phil has played the majority of his hockey in the EOJHL and GOJHL in North America with the Ottawa West Golden Knights and the Kitchener Dutchmen. Warriors new signing averaged better than a point per game during his time with those clubs and he will no doubt be hoping to continue such superb points production during his time in the UK with Warriors.
An interview with Phil will appear on Warriors website in the coming days when he will speak about his move over to the UK and his hockey career in his native Canada.
