Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce that experienced defenceman Sam Zajac will once again be patrolling the Whitley blue line.
29-year-old Sam came through the junior system at Whitley and first iced for Warriors in 2005-06. He stepped up to the English Premier League in 2008-09, joining Telford Tigers before moving to Basingstoke Bison the following season. Sam then stepped up again, this time to the Elite League with Newcastle Vipers before spending three seasons at Braehead Clan. Sam moved back to Tigers in 2014-15, spending three seasons in Telford before joining Swindon Wildcats at the beginning of last season. However, halfway through last season Sam moved back to the north east and linked up again with his home town club, Whitley Warriors.
