Defenceman Tommy Ralph who has been on a 2 way deal with Warriors and the Hull Stingrays this campaign will solely ice for the Hull Stingrays from now until the end of the 2013/14 campaign. Tommy has become more involved with the Elite League side of late and it has been decided that he will be focus on Stingrays matters for the remainder of the current season.
Whitley Warriors would like to thank Tommy for all the effort, commitment and time he has given to Warriors over the course of this season and for the time he spent with us at the end of the 12/13 campaign. The club would also like to sincerely thank Tommy’s parents who have ensured their son was able to play and train with Warriors at every available opportunity during his time with the organisation.
Tommy first linked up with Warriors during the 2012/13 campaign before agreeing a 2 way deal with Warriors and Elite League side the Hull Stingrays for the current season.
This season Tommy has played in 18 games for Warriors picking up 3 goals and 4 assists along with 10 penalty minutes. Tommy has netted 1 powerplay goal for Whitley and had a plus/minus rating of an impressive plus 3.
In the Elite League Tommy has made 24 appearances for Hull and has mainly operated on the right wing though he has yet to pick up point for the Stingrays. Hull look set to qualify to qualify for the Elite League play offs and Tommy will no doubt be looking forward to being part of Stingrays play off program.
