Whitley Warriors can today announce that defenceman Gary Walker has signed up for the 2019-20 season.
Although Gary was a new face for Warriors fans last season, he has solid hockey experience, having played recreational hockey with Durham Dragons for over ten years.
“I’m really excited to be back with the Warriors,” Gary said. “I hope I can build on the progress I made last season and help the team as much as possible.”
He also spoke of his experience last season: “I didn’t really know what to expect coming in last season but it didn’t take long for me to realise that this is a fantastic team to be a part of with truly amazing fans.”
