Whitley Warriors Ice Hockey Club are delighted to announce Howdens Tyne Tunnel as the new main sponsor for 2019-20.
Howdens’ story began in 1995 with a commitment to provide kitchens and joinery products to trade customers from local stock. Today, they are the UK’s largest supplier of fitted kitchens and joinery products, offering quality services to local builders nationwide.
They are committed to protecting the environment, which is why 100% of wood-based material used in Howdens UK-based manufacturing is from FSCĀ® certified sources. 98% of all waste produced in manufacturing and logistics is diverted from landfill by recycling and producing heat energy for their factories.
The Howdens logo will take pride of place on the front of the new design team shirts, which will be revealed in August.
“Howdens Tyne Tunnel are delighted to be the main sponsors of Whitley Warriors for this coming season,” Howdens manager Jeremy Doyle said. “We wish the staff and team all the best and look forward to watching a really successful campaign. COME ON YOU WARRIORS!”
Whitley Warriors general manager Paul Matthews spoke of the Club’s new partnership: “We are really pleased about securing our headline sponsorship for the 2019-20 season with such a reputable company as Howdens. They are based locally on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate so I’m sure we will build up a great rapport with their team over the season.
“Our sponsorship team were instrumental in the negotiations with Howdens so I would personally like to thank all concerned.”
