Whitley Warriors have confirmed today that Phil Edgar has agreed a loan deal to NIHL National division side Leeds Knights.
General Manager Paul Matthews said, “Phil almost signed for Leeds at the start of the season but it didn’t materialise. I know Phil has always wanted to test himself in a higher league so when Leeds approached us this week we spoke with Phil and he informed us he was keen on the move so we have agreed to a month long loan starting this weekend.
“Moving forward we have been working hard getting our injured players back which will strengthen our roster. Callum Queenan and Matty McDonald will both be back in the squad for Sunday after missing last Sunday.”
