England Ice Hockey, the NIHL and EIH Events Team are pleased to confirm more details for the exciting finale to the NIHL regional playoffs – the Steel City Showdown.
Teams from the NIHL North 1&2 and South 1&2 divisions will meet at Bauer Arena Ice Sheffield on the weekend of April 12-13 2025 with six games taking place – every one of them a Championship game!
Saturday’s action begins with the Laidler Playoff Final (North 2) at 10.45am, followed by Wilkinson Playoff Final (South 2) at 1.45pm. North 1’s Moralee Playoff Final will drop the puck at 4.45pm with the day rounded off by the Britton Playoff Final (South 1) at 7.45pm.
The respective winners of the Saturday games will then reconvene on Sunday for the first ever National Playoff Championship games in the NIHL. The Division 2 National Playoff Final is first on ice at 1pm, with the Division 1 National Playoff Final taking the stage at 4.30pm.
Tickets for this end of season extravaganza are on sale from 10am Monday January 13 2025. There are ‘early bird’ prices for all tickets bought up to and including Friday February 14 2025.
