Whitley Warriors have added Adam Reynolds to their squad ahead of the 2nd half of the NIHL North Division 1 2015/16 campaign. Adam left Warriors during the close season of 2015 however the experienced forward has missed hockey since he left the Warriors squad and has rejoined David Longstaff’s side.
Adam shared his thoughts on why he’s chosen to get back out onto the ice.
“Having watched the Warriors games this season it made me miss playing and my oldest son was bugging me to start playing again.
“I’m looking forward to working with Lobby (David Longstaff) and Dave Holland again. Hopefully I can contribute in some ways to continuing the great work the team has done so far this season. I feel I have a lot to give and want to get back to my best after a tough season from injury last year.”
Adam looks set to make his first appearance of the season for Warriors next Sunday when Whitley take on the Blackburn Hawks on the road in a crucial game between the top 2 sides in NIHL North hockey at this moment in time. Hawks and Warriors met each other on 3 occasions during December with each side claiming a victory alongside a drawn game making the upcoming fixture a vital match up both organisations.
Warriors next home game is on Sunday January 17th (face off 5pm) when the Telford Tigers travel to Hillheads for what should be an entertaining league match up between 2 sides who both currently occupy championship play off places.
