Whitley Warriors has teamed up with Bright, the official charity of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, to raise awareness and support for men’s mental health.
Mental health is just as important as physical health. Sadly, it is often overlooked or stigmatised in our society.
It’s known that men are less likely to seek help or talk about their struggles with mental health. This can lead to serious consequences, including depression, anxiety, and even suicide.
The Face-Off to Stigma campaign includes a series of podcasts featuring Head Coach Tony Hand MBE, General Manager Willie Dunn, and player Kyle Pow, who bravely share their journeys with mental health. We’ll link these podcasts below when they’re available.
If you’re struggling, please speak to your GP for support.
