Warriors travelled down to Shropshire with a strong roster. Richie Lawson started the game in nets and Whitley had 5 blue liners and 9 forwards enabling Simon Leach’s side to play 3 line hockey for most of the game.
Warriors started the game on the front foot and peppered Titans goal early on as Telford picked up 2 early penalties to give Whitley a 5 on 3 power play. Warriors were not able to score on the power play opportunity however the deadlock was soon broken when Adam Reynolds fired home after 10 minutes and then Jamie Tinsley increased Whitleys lead 3 minutes later.
The middle session of play just saw a solitary strike however it was Tommy Ralph who fired home to make it 3-0 to the visiting team.
Whitley came flying out of the blocks on the 3rd as Callum Watson and Adam Reynolds had both scored 70 seconds into the session.
Telford opened their scoring with 46 minutes on the clock when Ashley Stanton fired home a power play marker.
That strike was to prove a consolation effort for the Titans as Adam Reynolds made it 6-1 in the final minute of action to complete his hat trick on the evening.
