Whitley Warriors and Billingham Stars have today announced that the pre-season games scheduled for Saturday 25 August and Sunday 26 August 2018 have had to be cancelled.
Due to players’ holiday commitments, Warriors were unable to put out a team for either fixture. General Manager Dave Holland told us, “Unfortunately we’ve just got too many players away on holiday that weekend. The season officially begins at the start of September so the lads have had to fit their holidays in around their jobs and the hockey season and it’s left us too short of players for the bank holiday weekend.”
