The National Ice Hockey League LMC are pleased to release the fixtures for NIHL North Division 1 Moralee for the 2018-19 season.
The division will have ten teams in league play, with Sutton Sting returning to the top flight after winning North 2 last season. Teams will play two home and two away against each other in the league.
Whitley Warriors begin their season with a tough weekend – away to Hull Pirates on Saturday 1 September before a clash with Telford Tigers on Sunday 2 September at Hillheads. 2018 is a busy time for Warriors with twenty-five of the season’s thirty-six games being played before the New Year. However, there are no Saturday night home games this season – all home games are to be played on Sundays.
Other notable fixtures include away and home games respectively against derby rivals Billingham Stars over Christmas week with the last two games of the regular season also being against Stars.
