Whitley Warriors are proud to announce that defenceman Craig Johnson is the latest addition to the roster for the coming season.
Twenty-one-year-old Craig first played for Warriors in 2014-15, spending three seasons with the senior team before opting to spend the following seasons with the Under 20s Whitley Renegades.
“More than anything I am excited to return to the Warriors lineup and ice again,” Craig told us. “Last season I thought I was going to be back playing after signing but things didn’t work out the way I wanted them to in my personal life. This season it’s all different, I’ve never been so motivated to get back out there with the lads and put that Warriors shirt on every weekend in front of the amazing fans.
“On my time off I’ve just been working every hour I can and I’ve built up a relationship at work that means I should be able to never miss a game or training! I’m hoping that I can help the lads and the team get what we deserve every season – a high position in the table and have a good shot at the play offs!
