Whitley Warriors are pleased to announce that netminder Rory Dunn will once again take to the ice for the coming season.
Rory, 34, made his Warriors debut in 1999-00 and has iced for Sunderland Chiefs, Billingham Bombers and Newcastle ENL Vipers over the years. After a prolonged period out of competitive hockey, he returned to Warriors in 2016-17 and has been an integral part of the netminding team since.
Rory gave his thoughts on the season ahead: “I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice with the boys again. It looks like we probably have one of the strongest teams in the league with the majority of last year’s team coming back and the new additions that the coaches have brought in. I think it will be a very exciting season and there’s no reason why we can’t push for silverware.”
