The NIHL North Division 1 Moralee fixtures for the new season have today been revealed.
Whitley Warriors will face Nottingham Lions at home on Sunday 8 September to begin their campaign. There’s a trip to Sutton Sting the following Saturday before Solway Sharks pay the first of three visits to Hillheads on the Sunday.
There’ll be some new faces at Hillheads this season – the NIHL North Cup will see a visit by Dundee Comets on 20 October and the welcome return of Murrayfield Racers on 10 November with the away games on 16 November and 24 November respectively.
Cup action means extra local derby games too – Warriors face Billingham Stars at home on 6 October, 29 December and 23 February while the short journey down the A19 will be on 29 September, 3 November and 22 December.
Things hot up towards the end of the season with a trip to Solihull Barons while Warriors will face Blackburn Hawks home and away over two weekends in the last games of the regular season.
