Warriors edge tight Sutton contest

Callum Watson Whitley Warriors entertained the Sutton Sting on Sunday evening at their Hillheads Rink on North Tyneside. Warriors welcomed back Ali Brummitt into their line up as the blue liner has returned to the Whitley roster after a spell away from competitive hockey. Whitley were able to select an almost full strength squad, Liam Brown missed out after taking a puck to the face in last weekend’s game in North Wales against the Deeside Dragons.

Warriors celebrate superb road success

Kippin, Watson, Harley Whitley Warriors travelled down to North Wales on Sunday evening to take on Division 1 newcomers the Deeside Dragons. Whitley travelled with a strong squad of players though Joe Stamp and Harry Harley were both unable to make the trip however the likes of DJ Good, Shaun Kippin, Dan Pye and Callum Watson were all able to take to the ice.

Whitley Warriors took on the Blackburn Hawks on Sunday night at Hillheads in a NIHL North Division 1 match up. Whitley were without the services of Ben Richards however Warriors were able to name a strong roster of players which the likes of Harry Harley, Dan Pye, Dean Holland and Callum Watson all in the line up.

Harry Harley Whitley Warriors lost out on Saturday evening when they travelled to the Scottish borders to take on the Solway Sharks. Warriors travelled north with a strong looking squad though the likes of Dan Pye, Ben Richards and Joe Stamp were not part of David Longstaff’s roster against the table topping Solway Sharks.

Warriors hit Hawks for 6 at Hillheads

Callum Watson Whitley Warriors hosted the Blackburn Hawks in game that counted towards both the league and cup at their Hillheads base on Sunday evening. Warriors got the better of Hawks last weekend on the road by 3 goals to 2 and David Longstaff and his side were looking to pick up another victory against the reigning NIHL North Division 1 Champions.
