Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce the re-signing of forward Lewis Crisp.

23-year-old Crisp began his hockey career with Billingham’s junior setup, becoming captain of the U16 side in 2014 and going on to be Under 18s alternate captain by 2015. He made his senior debut with the Stars in the same season and following year captained the U18 team while also icing for the Under 20s outfit. A move to Whitley level saw him wear the A for the Under 20s, returning to Stars for his first full senior season in 2019. In his last season at Billingham he bagged 4 goals and 4 assists before moving to Warriors for 2022-23.

Crisp relished the chance to pull on the maroon and gold again. “I’m thrilled to be back for my second year as a Warrior,” he told us. “I believe that with Tony’s knowledge and expertise of the game, the team and myself will be in a strong position to produce great things this season.”

“Lewis Crisp is a young player I am looking forward to working with,” Head Coach Tony hand said. “He has the ability to add more points to his game.”
