Whitley Warriors entertained the Sutton Sting on Sunday evening on home ice at Hillheads ice rink in Whitley Bay. Warriors were able to include skipper Jamie Tinsley and Dan Harris on their match day roster as both players had regained full fitness since the clubs last game against the Blackburn Hawks.
Warriors skipper Jamie Tinsley and the experienced blue liner Dan Harris are both set to ice for Whitley this weekend after being ruled out of recent match ups due to a hand injury and concussion respectively. The versatile Alex Lawson will also be in the back in the Warriors line up.
Whitley Warriors travelled down to Blackburn on Saturday evening for a NIHL North Division 1 match up. Whitley were still without a number of senior players though as Jamie Tinsley, Daniel Harris and Paul Matthews were all out of action due to injuries.
