This weekend sees the first Tyne Tees derby of the 2014/15 campaign when the Billingham Stars travel to Whitley Bay on Sunday evening on take on the Warriors in a NIHL North Division 1 encounter. Warriors are hopeful of a bumper crowd for the derby match up as the club have been promoting the game inviting all hockey fans from the north east to the match.

Whitley Warriors pick up their first Moralee Conference road victory of the season on Saturday night as the Hillheads outfit recorded a 5-1 victory at Manchester Minotaurs.
Whitley Warriors unfortunately do not have a game this weekend due to NIHL North scheduling however the gap in Warriors fixtures has meant that Head Coach Simon Leach has been able to give his squad some time away from the rink recently to rest and recuperate.
