David Longstaff #25 Whitley Warriors are delighted to announce that David ‘Lobby’ Longstaff will be the clubs player/coach for the 2016/17 season. Lobby guided Warriors to a runners up spot in NIHL North Division 1 last term while the team also impressively qualified for the end of season play offs in Sheffield.

Queenan named in England squad as Warriors prepare for local derby

Callum Queenan Whitley Warriors teenage forward Callum Queenan has been selected by England Under 19’s for their clash with Scotland at Ice Sheffield in late April. Callum has represented Great Britain Under 18’s in the past and the youngster will no doubt be hoping to be part of the GB under 20’s set up next year.

Harry Harley Whitley Warriors headed to the midlands on Sunday evening as David Longstaff and his side took on the Solihull Barons. Warriors were without a number of influential players as Callum Queenan, Shaun Kippin, Scott Cooper and Stu Tomlinson were all out injured while import Andre Payette was suspended for this match up.
